Terms of use

Using SMEs.MY as a directory and enquiry platform.

These terms explain the practical rules for buyers, suppliers, contractors, service providers, and visitors using SMEs.MY.

Platform role

SMEs.MY helps Malaysian buyers and businesses discover supplier and provider categories, submit quote requests, and connect with potentially relevant suppliers, contractors, or service providers. SMEs.MY is not automatically a party to any engagement between a buyer and a provider unless separately agreed in writing.

For buyers

You are responsible for checking provider credentials, scope, pricing, terms, and suitability before appointing any provider. You should avoid sharing sensitive documents until you are comfortable with the provider and engagement terms.

For providers

Providers must submit accurate company, service, contact, location, and relevant registration or licence information where applicable. SMEs.MY may review, edit, reject, remove, or pause listings and enquiry routing where information is incomplete, misleading, unsuitable, or no longer current.

Listings and enquiries

A listing or enquiry opportunity does not guarantee traffic, leads, sales, conversion, ranking, approval, or ongoing placement. SMEs.MY may change categories, matching rules, page layout, and listing criteria as the platform develops.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false, unlawful, abusive, spam, or misleading information. Do not use the platform to scrape data, impersonate others, or interfere with the site or lead capture systems.
